Chafe-Pro’s Commercial Series consist of an outer layer of our proprietary nylon weave with an inner layerof ballistic nylon. Thestandard product hasstandard velcro for open and closure. All units have handles on one end. The inside of the Commercial serieshasthe hook side of the Velcro in order to prevent slippage acrossthe rope. Optionally we could supply the soft loop side on the inside.

The Commercial Series is ideal for protecting a ship’s mooring lines from pier and/or chock abrasion as well as protecting lines used for towing. The Commercial Series is constructed of multiple layers of FJORD, Inc.’s specially formulated and designed heavy-duty nylon weave. The layering technique used is designed to provide maximum flexibility and ease of application, as well as provide long chafe-resistant service.

HB Eye Units are designed for ease of application and removal. In just a few minutes, a single person can remove or install an HB Eye Unit. It can be installed or removed from the eye of the line without having to undo the splice. No lacing or lashing is required as each HB Eye Unit comes with FJORD Inc.’s special patented locking feature.

Thor Guard® is a one-piece unit that encloses both the splice and the eye of the line. It offers a continuous layer of abrasion resistant material without a break in protection at the transition from the eye to the splice.
