Pro™concept for protecting marine lines from chafe abrasion
In 1995 it was awarded a USpatent for their innovative and unique design
with wrap-around-closing feature (i.e.the hook and loop).
Gail,a veteran of many small boat ocean crossings,Ed who is an unlimited master
mariner in the Merchant Marine and a former Navysignalman and reserveline officer.
He founded the business and turned it over in 2010 to their son Michael,who
himself made his first ocean crossingunder sail at the age
of seven.
Chafe-Pro™ is anowadays still a specilized and focussed company in rope
protection and supplier for all major offshore companies around the world.
TheChafe-Pro™ Europefacility hasbeen set up for good support and deliveries
within Europe.
