Thor Guard™

Thor Guard is a one-piece unit that encloses both the splice and the eye of the line.  It offers a  continuous layer of abrasion resistant material without a break in protection at the transition from the eye to the splice.

The standard stock Thor Guard is designed for lines 1″ – 1¾” in diameter, with a 3-foot eye (i.e., 6 linear feet), having a mooring tail extending 7 feet from the throat of the splice.  It’s design features handles on the eye of the Thor Guard to assist in handling the line.  Custom Thor Guard units are also available.
